Communications Specialist Donna Richards Retiring March 1, 2016
Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation (MCHF) Communications Specialist Donna Richards is stepping down, effective March 1, 2016. Ms. Richards has worked with MCHF since 2011, after retiring from a 29-year career with the Missouri Department of Conservation, serving as support staff in various Divisions of the Department.
Ms. Richards has been involved with many projects, including fundraising for the construction of two fishing/viewing platforms at Bennett Spring State Park and fish hatchery and production of the Missouri Waterfowl and Wetland Conservation: A Model of Collaboration book published in 2014. Ms. Richards has worked with two Executive Directors – Rick Thom and Chris Vitello, and has overlapped with newly appointed Executive Director Kevin Roper. Ms. Richards’ stated, “My time with the Foundation and working with many members of the Board of Directors, both past and present, has been a very rewarding experience. Working to support the mission of the Missouri Department of Conservation has been a great ending to my position with the Foundation.”
Donna is looking forward to her retirement and to spending more time with family and friends and enjoying Missouri outdoors and other travel adventures.
