National Lewis and Clark Conservation Awards – Save the Date! September 22, 2017

Sponsored by Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation, this annual event, slated for September 22, 2017, will Lewis and Clark light logohonor individuals and organizations that have made a noteworthy impact on the spirit of conservation and conservation causes. The awards event will include a thematic dinner and ceremony held in the White River Conference Center adjoining Johnny Morris’ Wonders of Wildlife National Museum in Springfield, MO.

Lewis and Clark were explorers, scientists, entrepreneurs, geographers, diplomats and front runners of conservation in the United States.  They overcame significant obstacles and challenges leading the Corps of Discovery through unforeseen circumstances and difficulties to achieve their nation’s charge and change America forever.  In the spirit of the Corps, the Lewis and Clark Conservation Awards will recognize those who have provided exemplary service, inspiration and commitment to the conservation cause.
