MCHF Welcomes New Board Member

The MCHF Board welcomes new member Jim Carson of Springfield. Jim and his wife Ginny have lived on the family farm in Lawrence Country for many years where Jim has, with the help of the MDC and various incentive programs such as EQIP and WHIP, transformed the 400+ acres into a farm where wildlife and commercial farming and cattle raising not only coexist but where they benefit each other. Jim is an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, backpacking, hiking and anything else outdoors.

At its December Board meeting, MCHF recognized outgoing Board members Chris Nattinger (2005-2011) and Andy Dalton (2009-2011) and thanked them for their dedication to conservation and MCHF. Current Board members are David Murphy, Columbia-Chairman of the Board; David Reynolds, Springfield-President; Steve Mowry, Kansas City-Vice President; Steve Bradford, Cape Girardeau-Secretary; Ann Sullins, St. Louis-Treasurer, Jim Carson, Springfield; Dave Erickson, Columbia; Jan Horton, Springfield; Richard Mendenhall, Columbia; Cynthia Metcalfe, St. Louis; Lowell Mohler, Jefferson City; Gary Schell, Jefferson City; Jim H. Wilson, St. Louis; Bob Ziehmer (Ex Officio); Don R. Johnson (Ex Officio).
