Funding will cover the cost of 50 upland game birds for the annual DeKalb County Upland Game Bird Youth Day (2014-2015). The event is scheduled for the last Saturday in September at a local game bird shooting preserve. Department staff and several conservation organizations are sponsoring the event. Funding will allow 25 youth between the ages of 11 and 15, who have graduated from hunter education, to participate in this exciting event.
