Gasconade County R-II School Outdoor Classroom and Trail

The Gasconade County R-II School District has decided to restore their woodland acres on campus by completing timber stand improvement, removing undesirables and promoting oak/hickory forest. This grant will be used to construct an outdoor classroom. There are three schools on the campus and multiple classes interested in using the classrooms, so the plan is to build three different outdoor classrooms on site. The outdoor classrooms and trail will be built using volunteer labor and be utilized by a variety of classes and subjects, including and not limited to science, math and art.
