Little Bourbeuse, Brush Creek and Lick Creek Watershed Protection

Stream Stewardship Trust Fund dollars were applied to protection and restoration efforts of aquatic habitat on private lands through the Little Bourbeuse River, Brush Creek and Lick Creek watersheds in Crawford, Franklin and Gasconade Counties. Protection and restoration is to be achieved by excluding livestock, planting trees, constructing reinforced stream crossings, providing alternative livestock watering systems and pacing cedar trees and rocks along the stream banks. Thirty-year maintenance agreements.
