Wildcat Glade Eradication of Invasive/Exotic Plant Species

The Wildcat Glades Conservation and Audubon Center was created at the Wildcat Park in the fall of 2007.   Within the Park is a 15 acre Natural Area used for educational programs and trail walks.  Over the years this area has been a collecting point for exotic and invasive plant species.  Goals for this project include eradicating exotic and invasive species, replanting in native plants, and training volunteers and staff in maintaining the Natural Area.  MCHF Funds provide an all-terrain vehicle for pulling a sprayer and hauling brush and cuttings.
