Located in the Big CreekWatershed and will protect .46 miles of stream frontage along the Big Creek through a permanent conservation easement. The MDC, NRCS and Iron County SWD will utilize this project as a demo site to demonstrate good stream bank erosion control practices and bendway wiers.
