Trail and Picnic Shelter for Boy Scouts

The Foundation approved $4,000 for the construction of a picnic shelter house and half-mile interpretive trail on property owned by the Grundy County Boy Scouts of America. The property is located southwest of Trenton on Highway 6.

River Hills Project

MCHF partnered with the National Fish and Wildlife Federation to provide upgrades and facilities enhancement for the Missouri River Hills Conservation Opportunity Area.

Lower Bourbeuse Watershed Project

MCHF partnered with the National Fish and Wildlife Federation to provide fencing, vegetation, pond construction and tank for livestock access, native seed, timberline food plots, electric fence and portable shade shelter.

Framing for Office Building at Eagle Bluffs CA

Accepted frame for new office/waterfowl drawing area on Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area. MO Dept of Conservation constructed the building and provided manpower and additional funds.

Painted Rock Conservation Area – Osage Bluff Scenic Trail Restoration

The Osage Bluff Scenic Trail parallels the Osage River on the Painted Rock Conservation Area. From the trail, hikers can view the Osage River from a 200 foot cliff overlook.
