Painted Rock Conservation Area – Osage Bluff Scenic Trail Restoration

The Osage Bluff Scenic Trail parallels the Osage River on the Painted Rock Conservation Area. From the trail, hikers can view the Osage River from a 200 foot cliff overlook. Lake Jacomo Fishing Dock

MO Dept of Conservation moved a fishing dock from Lake Venita to Lake Jacomo, by using funds donated by Mr. Dave Studyvin. Fish structures were also installed around the dock once the project was completed.

Castor River Shut-Ins Natural Area Trail Signs

Located on the Amidon Conservation Area in the Castor River Shut-Ins Natural Area, the Pink Rock and Cedar Glades Trail is a popular designation for hikers, photographers and wildlife watchers. The project will cover the cost of new trail signage.
