Operation Wild Lands in the LaBarque Creek Watershed

This project leverages existing partnership with Friends of LaBarque Creek Watershed Coalition and the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) to implement community-based management of LaBarque Creek Conservation Area (CA), specifically targeting LaBarque Creek CA, Young CA and Glassberg Family CA through the Operation Wild Lands (OWLs) program.

Clifty Creek Trail

The Foundation provided a total of $13,000 in 2007 and 2008 to help partners construct this beautiful, 2.5-mile loop trail through Clifty Creek Natural and Conservation Area in Maries County. The area protects a natural arch of Gasconade Limestone and numerous Ozark natural communities. Go to profile and photos>>
