Little Niangua River Clear-Span Structure

Stream Stewarship Trust Funds in the amount of $30,00 provided to offset the additional costs of a clear-span structure versus replacement of an existing low-water crossing on County Road 200, facilitating intra-population movements of the Niangua darter on the Little Niangua River

Dade County Warm Season Grass Drill

MCHF funds provided to purchase native warm-season grass drill with the Dade County Soil and Water Conservation District.

Truax No-Till Drill

MCHF funds were provided to purchase a Truax no-till drill grass drill for Bates, Jackson, Cass and Johnson Counties.

Busiek State Forest Footbridge

Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation funds in the amount of $10,000 were provided to construct a footbridge at Busiek State Forest and Wildlife Area in Christian County to protect a riparian area.

Higgins Ditch/Locust Creek Grade-Control Structures

Stream Stewardship Trust funds in the amount of $109,099 were used to pay for the installation of two grade-control structures in the pirating headcut channel from Higgins Ditch to Locust Creek in Linn County, and notching of two levees on the east side of Locust Creek to restore hydrology and protect wetlands in Locust Creek […]
