Blinds for Disabled Deer & Turkey Hunts and Eagle Days

The Smithville Lake Disabled managed hunt is held each year during the last weekend of the fall firearms deer season and just completed their 22nd year. There are up to 75 disabled hunters who apply for 63 blinds each year, making this hunt the largest disabled hunt in the United States. They also conduct two youth hunts, one in spring for turkey and one in the fall for deer. Fiberglass blinds will be purchased as they are maintenance free, portable and durable to last for years. Blinds will also be used for the Smithville Lake Eagle Days event that is sponsored by MO Dept of Conservation, Clay County Parks and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
