Feral Hog Eradication Partnership

Feral hogs are an unwanted invasive species in Missouri and the damage they cause remains a serious and growing problem.  Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC), along with other conservation partners, helps to eradicate feral hogs and their damage on public and private lands.  MDC uses trapping as well as implementing and enforcing regulations and other actions to discourage transporting, releasing and hunting feral hogs.  This partnership grant provides funding for the purchase of materials and labor to build trap gates and drop traps to utilize to eradicate feral hog populations.
