John McPheeters Challenge to The Nature Conservancy

This contribution provided capstone funding for the $100,000 John McPheeters Challenge to The Nature Conservancy for prairie management and restoration in the 70,000-acre Grand River Grasslands Conservation Opportunity Area in Harrison County, Missouri, and Iowa.

Streamside Wetlands and Associated Vegetative Buffers

Funding paid for streamside wetlands and associated vegetative buffers to filter crop field run-off from tile-outlet systems to improve water quality of streams in priority watersheds in Harrison County.
