Kickoff Missouri Outdoors Month and challenge yourself to Explore More! Let’s see how many miles of outdoors activity we can reach together.
Do it for the love of the land and water! Through this challenge we are raising funds for our wild public lands, trails and waterways one mile at time.
Challenge begins April 4 and runs through June 20 (first day of summer).
How the Wild Miles outdoors challenge works:
- Challenge yourself to get outside each day and blaze new ground, paddle new waters, and meet new goals
- Run, hike, bike, kayak, etc. Choose how, where and when you will participate
- Set your mileage goal
- 1 mile = $1. Donate the amount of miles you plan to cover for your goal (or more!) to the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation. Example: I plan to hike a total of 20 miles, so I will donate $20
- Every $5 (or five miles) you donate will enter you into a raffle for a chance to win premier prizes! Example: $20 will get you 4 raffle tickets.
- Have fun! Take photos, video, etc., and share your experience with #WildMiles22
Pro Tips:
- Not into the mileage? No worries! Either donate to a friend who is fundraising or donate directly.
- Funds a little tight right now, but still want to participate and support? Have someone sponsor your outdoors challenge or match your gift. Double your donation!

Every $5 (or five miles) you donate will enter you into a raffle for a chance to win one of the awesome prizes below.

Raffle Rules:
- People who purchase ticket(s) within the United State are eligible to win. Exception: employees of MCHF are not eligible to win.
- Raffle tickets/miles donated must be purchased by Monday, June 20, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.
- Tickets will be drawn by a designated MCHF staff member.
- The Wild Miles raffle drawing will take place on or around Monday, June 27, 2022. We will contact the winners within that same week by phone or email. If prizes are not claimed by July 25, 2022, MCHF reserves the right to keep the prize for other fundraising campaigns or select another winner from the raffle pool. Winners may have to pick up larger items at our office in Jefferson City.
