Discover Nature Women’s Rabbit Hunting with Beagles Clinic

Participants in this event come away with a greater appreciation for the history and biology of these game animals. They also learn how to become safe and proficient hunters. The clinic is a mix of classroom lectures and hand-on field experiences. The clinic culminates with a guided hunt for the participants during which the information they have learned is put to use in the field.

This clinic is a true effort in partnership with several agencies, businesses and individuals contributing to the program’s success. The program is coordinated by local MDC staff from Protection and Outreach and Education Divisions. Individuals from the local area donate their time and expertise as instructors and guides at this event, along with landowners who allow their properties to be used for the event.
