Troublesome Creek Stream Crossing

Stream Stewardship Trust Funds in the amount of$3,250 provided to construct a reinforced stream crossing at Troublesome Creek in the South Fabius watershed in Know County, in return for protection on 0.75 miles of stream channel (3.6 acres) and 5.2 acres of riparian corridor.

Kansas City Youth Conservation Corps

MCHF funds in the amount of $3,828 were provided for ssupport for six-member team/crew leader for the Kansas City Youth Conservation Corp to work on conservation projects.

Wildlife Management Specialist Support

MCHF funds used to provide funds in support of wildlife management specialist to promote Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) in Cass and surrounding counties.

Upper Grand River Prescribed Burn Initiative

MCHF funds matched by partners to purchase equipment for Upper Grand River Prescribed Burn Initiative for upland game species and nongame grassland/shrubland songbirds, primarily in Worth and Harrison Counties.

Busiek State Forest Footbridge

Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation funds in the amount of $10,000 were provided to construct a footbridge at Busiek State Forest and Wildlife Area in Christian County to protect a riparian area.
