The Gateway and Mid-Mo chapters of Trout Unlimited have donated $15,000 and $5,000 respectively to Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation (MCHF) to study brown trout on the Meramec River.
These chapters have collaborated with the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) to identify the project scope and funding needs to conduct this telemetry study. This study will allow MDC biologists to track the movement of brown trout to help better manage their fisheries.
