Perry County Community Lake Trail Boardwalk

Perry County Community Lake is within the city limits of Perryville. The property has a heavily used 4-mile hiking trail around this lake. There is a 150-foot section of trail that goes underwater in the spring when lake levels rise. Staff have tried to reroute trail further uphill which avoided the lake water on the trail but it still has to cross the drains which typically have water in them in the spring. This boardwalk will enable the trail in its existing tread way eliminating the need to clear more trail. This will provide a consistently usable urban trail to the city of Perryville.
