The The survey of 16 prairie properties in the Unglaciated Plains Natural Division of Missouri resulted in the documentation of 192 C. oklahomensis plants at three locations. No populations of C. oklahomensis were found at six of the nine sites reported to harbor the species. Calopogon oklahomensis was not found at any of the seven additional survey sites.
