Mahans Creek Watershed Restoration

Stream Stewardship Trust Fund dollars and EQIP funds through the Missouri Department of Conservation and the Natural Resources Conservation Service paid for watershed, streambank, and riparian restoration work and livestock exclusion work on private land in the Mahans Creek Watershed.

This project utilizes streambank stabilization techniques and targets a priority stretch of stream with a special emphasis Smallmouth Bass Management Zone.
